QA Engineer

Design, develop, document and execute test cases to effectively evaluate software quality and the overall end-user experience.

Essential Functions:

• Writes and updates test plans, test design specifications, test cases and test scripts based on feature requirements and execution of test cases
• Communicating test activities, issues, and results to development team and management team throughout the software development lifecycle
• Supports all test phase activities, execute manual and automated test scripts, records and track software discrepancies
• Works with software engineers and other engineering / manufacturing functions to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance, and quality
• Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts

Education:

• B.S. degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field

Knowledge & Skill:

• Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in progress programming in C, C++, OOD. Must have working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies. Must be familiar with NT, UNIX, or Windows environments
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products as Windows server 2003, SQL server and network, and electronic tools and software release. Experience in gaming industry is desired
